Tarot and Kabbalah: Arcanum 2

Arcanum 2

The number two is negative. In ancient times there were always both a priest and priestess within the temples. There were both a male and female master in primordial Masonry. The Count Cagliostro intended to establish Egyptian Masonry in England, but he had many enemies and in the end he established two thrones. Giovanni Papini met Count Cagliostro on a ship. They became friends, and the Count told him who he was. Cagliostro tried to stop the Second World War and because no one paid attention to him, he went again to Tibet saying that he was going to return sixty years later.

In ancient times, Egyptian Masonry was grandiose. At that time, sacred hermaphrodites existed and the numbers one and two were fused. Humanity was androgynous in the first Protoplasmatic Root Race, during the Polar Epoch. Back then, sexual reproduction was performed during specific times of the year. To reproduce, they divided their human organism into two, and the number two was the son.

A ritual was performed during that epoch when someone was born. These human beings were capable of elongating themselves or shrinking themselves to the size of an atom. When a master wanted to speak in a sweet way he would bring his feminine principle to the surface, and when he wanted to show his severity, the masculine principle was presented. This is how the Elohim are.

The Latin tradition tells us that Aeneas was present in the sanctuary of Apollo (The Aeneid, Book VI, by Virgil) when he had an interview with a pythoness who prophesied unto him his forthcoming fate. Aeneas requested to see his dead father. He petitioned to enter into the infernos. The terrible Sibyl, guardian of the forest of Hecate Proserpine (third aspect of the Divine Mother), the forest of Avernus, answered unto him:

The gates of hell are open night and day; Smooth the descent, and easy is the way: But to return, and view the cheerful skies, In this the task and mighty labor lies. To few great Jupiter imparts this grace, And those of shining worth and heav’nly race.

She asked him to obtain a bundle of leaves and branches of gold consecrated to Proserpine, the Divine Mother in her infernal aspect. Aeneas sacrificed some black sheep, and then he saw two flying doves. The hero recognized that those birds were the birds of his Divine Mother (symbol of the Holy Spirit). He intelligently interpreted this message, and the two birds directed him to the forest of Proserpine where he found the bundle that would permit him to enter into the infernos. Aeneas sacrificed four black cows and the Sibyl guided him through the Avernus till he reached the place where his dead father was.

The masculine and feminine principles are conjugated in the holy and mysterious Tetragrammaton, an esoteric name that should not be pronounced in vain and which in Hebrew is related with the letters of the name of the Eternal.

י Iod: eternal masculine principle

ה Hei: eternal feminine principle

ו Vav: phallic masculine principle; the lingam

ה Hei: feminine principle; the uterus, the yoni

יהוה Iod Hei Vav Hei is reduced to Ssssssssssssssssssssssssssssss. These four letters are in themselves of tremendous sacerdotal power. They must be pronounced as if imitating the howling of a tornado that is within the hills, or as if imitating the wind. When one wants to heal an ill person or to invoke a deity, it must be pronounced softly. They also serve for meditation. In those four letters, the two feminine and masculine principles of the macrocosm and microcosm are represented: the reed, masculine principle, and the cup, feminine principle. The principle of the Eternal One is in these four letters that must not be pronounced in vain.

The number two is vital. In the temples of the mysteries, two altars were never absent. One cannot pass into the temple without passing through the two columns where two guardians are always present.

What would life be like if the number two did not exist? The Matripadma (womb of nature) receives the masculine Fohat ray, the Holy Spirit, spouse of the Divine Mother, who becomes fecundated and the universe appears. What would be of life without the other principle?

Before the dawn of the mahamanvantara, the cosmic day, nothing existed. The gods were living within That which has no name, no form, no sound, no silence, nor ears in order to perceive it.

When life dawned, when the dawn of creation commenced, the First Logos called the Third Logos and He said unto Him, “Go and fecundate your spouse in order for existence to begin.” He then started to work with the seven spirits before the throne, and the Army of the Voice. Then the Masonic rituals were performed and the chaotic matter became fecundated; the Matripadma was fecundated and the universe came into existence. Each one of the seven cosmocreators emanated from itself the two souls: Buddhi, the feminine soul, and the causal masculine soul; this pair of souls are symbolized by the constellation of Pisces.

These two souls, husband and wife, practiced a transcendental maithuna. She separated the superior waters from the inferior waters in order for the waters to be fecundated by the fire; they projected these waters by means of the Verb. Then, the germs of the Matripadma proliferated; the Matripadma swelled like a lotus flower, and thus fructified, a cosmos was born.

The eternal positive and the eternal negative are in electricity.

In India, the masculine principle is represented by a bull, and the feminine principle by the sacred white cow which represents the Divine Mother and that has as its antithesis the black cow.

We need to christify ourselves. No human being can return to the Father without being devoured by the serpent. No one can be devoured by the serpent without having worked in the flaming forge of Vulcan (sex). The key of christification is in the Arcanum A.Z.F. The mantra of the Great Arcanum is I.A.O.

I: ignis, fire

A: aqua, water

O: origo, principle, Spirit

Mars descends into the flaming forge of Vulcan in order to retemper his sword and to conquer the heart of Venus. Heracles descends in order to clean the stables of Augeas with the sacred fire, and Perseus descends in order to cut off Medusa’s head.

Remember, beloved disciples, that our Divine Mother is Nut and her word is “56.” By Kabbalistically adding the numbers together we have: 5 + 6 = 11, then 1 + 1 = 2. One is the Father; two is Her, Nut, the Divine Mother Kundalini.

Behold, here the wonder of the number two.

Synthesis

- Woman is the athanor of Sexual Alchemy. The human being departed from paradise through the doors of Eden, and Eden is precisely sex.

- The door of paradise is sex. Woman is the door.

- The Kundalini is the sacred fire of the Holy Spirit. It is the Pentecostal fire. It is the igneous serpent of our magical powers.

- Kundalini is enclosed in the Muladhara chakra situated in the coccyx.

- The secret in order to awaken Kundalini is the following: introduce the virile member into the vagina of the woman and withdraw it without spilling the semen. This practice must be performed slowly.

- The Arcanum A.Z.F., Sexual Magic, or Maithuna, must only be practiced between man and woman, between legitimate husband and wife of lawfully constituted homes.

- The practice of the arcanum must only be performed once a day. If it is practiced twice a day, one falls into negativity by violating the magnetic recuperative pause.
