Tarot and Kabbalah: Arcanum 18

Arcanum 18

When we Kabbalistically add the Eighteenth Arcanum, we have 1 + 8 = 9, the Ninth Sphere, sex. Esoteric traditions affirm that the Earth has nine strata or subterranean regions. It is clear that what is called the planetary nucleus is found in the ninth stratum. This nucleus is of an extraordinary density. The Kabbalists state that in the center of the Earth, the sign of the infinite is found. It is obvious that within the heart of the Earth its vital energies circulate.

This is the reason why Kabbalists affirm that in the center of the Earth the brain, heart, and sex of the genie of the Earth, or planetary genie, is found. Upon this model all of the organizations of creatures are built, in other words, built within ourselves. The struggle is terrible: brain against sex, sex against brain, and the worst is heart against heart.

Arcanum 19

The Nineteenth Arcanum is the arcanum of the alliance and of victory. We spoke in previous chapters about the Salt of Alchemy, symbol of the physical body; the Mercury, symbol of the Ens Seminis, within which the Ens Virtutis is enclosed; and the Sulphur, symbol of Fire, the Fohat, the Kundalini. The Mercury must be transmuted into Sulphur, which is the serpentine fire, the outcome of transmutation. These three elements are the passive instruments of the Great Work.

We have to search for the positive principle, the Interior Magnes of Paracelsus, the Magical Principle. The three elements Salt, Mercury, and Sulphur are negative elements when they are not working in the Magnus Work, yet they become positive by working in the Magnus Work. This is the Magical Principle or Interior Magnes.

Tarot and Kabbalah: Arcanum 20

Arcanum 20

The hieroglyphic of the Twentieth Arcanum is the resurrection of the dead. It is necessary that we concentrate well on this topic of resurrection, which has many aspects. First of all, in order for resurrection to happen, it is necessary for death to happen. Without death, there is no resurrection. It is necessary to comprehend that life is the outcome of death. Death is the crown of everyone. The path of life is formed by the hoofprints of the horse of death.

Everything that exists in life is submitted to death. Something of mortality and something of immortality exists within everything. I want to tell unto you that mortality and immortality are very relative. Even God Himself, who is immortal, in the long run is mortal.

Tarot and Kabbalah: Arcanum 21

Arcanum 21

The Twenty-first Arcanum is the “Fool of the Tarot” or “Transmutation.” It has been confused with the Twenty-second Arcanum which is “The Crown of Life.”

The Twenty-first Arcanum can be represented with the inverted pentagonal star, which represents black magic.

It is emphatically established within esoteric schools that we have a luminous astral body. This is very arguable, because the astral body must be built in the Ninth Sphere by means of the transmutation of the Hydrogen SI-12. What the current and common people possess is the body of desires [kama rupa], which is confused with the astral body. So, to assert that we have an astral body is a severe error, a tremendous mistake, because the body of desires is not the astral body.

Tarot and Kabbalah: Arcanum 22

Arcanum 22

The Twenty-second Arcanum is the Crown of Life, the return into Light, the incarnation of truth in us.

The Apocalypse states, “Be thou faithful unto death, and I will give thee a crown of life.” [Revelation 2:10] Undoubtedly, this deserves to be profoundly studied. Let us remember the crown of the saints. In the pineal gland exists the church of Laodicea. During the time of the Hyperboreans, a virgin with the name of Laodicea existed. She carried offerings to Delos, or Delphi, of ancient Greece.

This arcanum represents a crown that has many radiations. This is the chakra Sahasrara, situated in the pineal gland. When the sacred fire of Kundalini reaches the pineal gland, the lotus of a thousand petals is put into motion.
